  • Enamore Lingerie Catwalk Cabaret

    You Had Me From Hello
    a catwalk production from Enamore

Show styled by Jennifer Ambrose & choreographed by Bethania Matheus

The show is a lunchtime cabaret held at the prestigious Buddha Bar on London's Victoria Embankment - only a few steps from Somerset House, the new official venue for London Fashion Week.

Far from the standard runway show, Enamore's 2010 catwalk will be a fashion performance/striptease, featuring burlesque dancers and models selected for their boisterous personalities and striking natural attributes.

Enamore guests are invited to be amongst the first in the UK to sample the new vodka from FAIR™. Distilled in France from the finest organic Fair Trade ingredients, FAIR, together with fellow sponsors Divine Chocolate and Café Direct, present luscious Divine Russian and Fair Espresso Martinis as pre-show aperitifs.

The spacious venue is opulent and luxurious, with rich mahogany furniture and amber lighting. Add the fabulous soundtrack (think Connie Francis!) and the scene is set for our guests to experience the sensual playful world of Enamore, where models dance, strut and flirt their way down the winding stairs and across the centre catwalk.

    Show Details:
    Monday September 21st
Buddha Bar, 8 Victoria Embankment, London WC2R 2AB
    Show begins at 2:30pm

  • Blushless joins Agent For Change

Blushless is the new bridal and eveningwear label from designer Liv Lundelius.

Lundelius took the David Lynch roadmovie/lovestory 'Wild at Heart' as inspiration for this collection, for many reason.

"I fell in love with this amazing leather bra Lula is wearing in many scenes. And I like the story. And I like all the weird characters.... I believe in a happy ending, but in between, this whole world is wild at heart and weird on top. But love matters. It make the difference." Liv Lundelius

Weddings are about happy endings, and being wild at heart... and for the girl who is wild at heart and weird on top, a wedding dress should be anything but boring...

Blushless uses vegan leather of the softest touch, combined with the finest Fair Trade silks. Innovative microfibre textiles get a special finish through extraordinary hand stitching. Old techniques - new materials.

Ripped tulle combined with a leather belt, sheer gowns, and everything looks a bit off.

Every piece is different but they all have a connection; they are all characters out of one story.....

Wild at Heart and Weird on Top.

  • Agent For Change at Berlin Fashion Week

GREEN is the first showroom offering a symbiosis of design, zeitgeist and luxury melded with sustainability, tradition and awareness – in short, a platform for sustainable innovative design for the luxury fashion market.

The founders of the GREENshowroom, Magdalena Schaffrin, with her label *magdalena schaffrin and Jana Keller, with RoyalBLUSH, both felt wrongly placed in general fairs. With the green fairs the vision was shared, but these distinct collections didn´t fit in between yoga clothes and bio cotton bags. In the high-end section the fashionable aspects were liked, but an understanding of the sustainable materials and politically correct manufacturing standards was lacking. A new platform was needed...GREEN was born!

  • Michelle Obama wears St Erasmus

Many congratulations to AfC research client St Erasmus who are enjoying what designer Pieter Erasmus describes as ‘the Mobama effect’.

After Michelle Obama wore a St Erasmus piece to a White House event last month, the team at SE have hardly slept keeping up with demand for the asymmetric flower necklace. The event was a Correspondents' Dinner and guests included the likes of Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and Demi Moore amongst others. We are particularly impressed that Mrs Obama chose to support a young creative brand at such a high profile event, as Erasmus himself put it, ‘I am so delighted to see that Mrs. Obama is supporting fashion for creativity.’
